Rose Fitzgerald makes her society debut.

(Jan.) Fitzgerald is presented at a cotillion in the Hotel Somerset (at her parents mansion-Nasaw). William Randolph Hearst and his wife and Joseph Kennedy are among the 450 guests. In her memoir, Times To Remember, she later writes of a Boston in which “separate society columns were published in the newspapers, one about them, one about us.”
